The Fort Lauderdale Police Department lost one of it’s hero’s to COVID-19.
Officer Jennifer Sepot died after contracting COVID-19, the department announced Saturday.
The department said she experienced sever complications related to the virus.
Sepot began her career with the department on April 18, 2017.
According to the CDC, more than 40,000 people have died from COVID-19 in Florida.
She is survived by her loving husband and a young child.
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of #FLPD Officer Jennifer Sepot. Officer Sepot contracted COVID-19 and experienced complications related to the virus.
