Authorities are reporting that they have captured the 41-year-old suspect who shot and killed three people in Travis County, Texas on Sunday.

Stephen Broderick was taken into custody without incident on Monday after a 20 hour manhunt.

Officials say Broderick fatally shot the three victims at an apartment complex before fleeing the area.

Two female victims and one male victim were pronounced dead at the scene by police.

In a press conference, Broderick was described as a former detective with the Travis County Sheriff’s office who worked in property crimes until he was arrested in June for sexually assaulting a child.

It was also reported that Broderick “knew and targeted” the three victims.
