Food truck explosion leaves 1 severely burned in Vero Beach

A food truck exploded at a seafood festival in Vero Beach on Saturday, leaving one person with severe burns, WPTV reports.

The Vero Beach police have said that the explosion occurred in Riverside Park.

The victim of the blast was quickly flown to Arnold Palmer’s Hospital for Children in Orlando for immediate treatment for the severe burns.

While the cause for the explosion is not yet known, the Indian River County Fire Rescue and the state fire marshal’s office were conducting an investigation at the park.

No other injuries were reported.
