A South Florida woman is dead after she got into an argument with a driver who reportedly parked in her daughter’s parking spot at their apartment.

The incident was reported on February 13 in Hialeah.

Officials say the victim identified as Olga Fernandez, went outside to confront the man after her 24-year-old daughter told her that a driver parked in her space and refused to leave.

According to the report, the daughter went inside to use the restroom as her mother confronted the suspect. The daughter told authorities that when she came out of the restroom, she heard her mother screaming.

The daughter went outside to find her mother laying on the ground and bleeding from her mouth as the suspect drove away.

Authorities say during the altercation, the driver struck Fernandez with their vehicle and drove away. Fernandez was dragged by the vehicle and then left in the street.

She was taken to an area hospital where she later died of her injuries.

Investigators say they are searching for a black Toyota Corolla with front end damage.
