Fort Myers, FL–
A 59-year-old woman was arrested after she reportedly pointed a gun at two women she believed were trying to skip a line of cars waiting to fill up on gas.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 1st.
Police say Terri Lynn Johns was waiting in line to get gas when two women pulled into the gas station. As the women drove around, they noticed Johns pointing a gun at them and contacted the police.
Johns told authorities that she believed the women were trying to skip the line, however, the women told police that they pulled into the gas station to make a U-turn.
Johns was taken into custody but later released the same day on a $75,000 bond.
She has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill and displaying a firearm during a felony.
“This is the behaviors that WILL NOT be tolerated at any time much less during this state of emergency,” police said. “Don’t be like Ms. Johns.”
