Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol are reporting that a South Florida woman jumped to her death after being involved in a car crash.

The incident was reported early Saturday on Interstate 95.

Authorities say after the crash occurred, the unidentified woman then got out of her vehicle, walked over to a nearby overpass and then jumped to her death.

The woman was said to have been driving a Kia sedan.

No other details have been released about the incident at this time.
