A 19-year-old Florida woman led police on a vehicle chase told police that it has been on her bucket list to get arrested.
The incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. Thursday on Card Sound Road in Key Largo.
Monroe County Sheriff’s officials say a deputy noticed 19-year-old Janiya Shaimiracle Douglas of Homestead speeding and driving recklessly and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
Authorities say instead of pulling over, Douglas continued driving.
After a short chase, the woman decided to pull over and was arrested.
During her arrest, the Douglas told the deputy that it has been on her “bucket list” since high school to be arrested.
She is now charged with fleeing and eluding.
