A Jacksonville woman has found herself behind bars after she attempted to smuggle several cellphones into a prison.

55-year-old Gertrude Harper was arrested on Saturday at the  Walton Correctional Institution.

Officials say Harper reportedly went to the jail to visit a inmate and to drop off some gifts.

Walton County Sheriff’s Office says that during a search of her person they found 101 grams of heroin, six miniature cell phones, and 93 individual doses of Subutex, a treatment for opioid dependency hidden under her clothing and in her underwear.

Harper is facing two counts of smuggling contraband into a prison and one count of trafficking heroin.

She is being held on a $25,000 bond.
