A Florida area sheriff arrested his daughter earlier this month after finding that she was involved in drug trafficking.

Kristen Kent was arrested on April 19th for her involvement of trafficking meth.  

In a Facebook post, Franklin County Sheriff A.J. Smith told followers that no one is above the law:

“Methamphetamine does not discriminate [and] neither do we,” Smith wrote. “It does not matter who you are – no one is immune or exempt.” 

She was charged with amphetamine traffic or methamphetamine 14 grams or over; drug equipment possession and or use; cocaine possession.

Another woman, 25-year-old Bailey Lee, was arrested in connection with the case.

Lee is charged with two counts of amphetamine traffic or methamphetamine 14 grams or over.
