
WEST PALM BEACH- For the first time, GOP supporters in Florida outnumber registered Democrats by almost 175,000 voters according to data from the Florida Division of Elections.
Across the U.S., more than 1,000,000 Democrats have switched to the Republican party over the past year, a troubling sign for the DNC as the November midterm elections loom.
Analysts cite growing disenchantment with the leadership of Joe Biden and growing strain on suburban families who seek relief from high food and fuel prices.
In Palm Beach County, Democrats still outnumber Republicans by over 130,000 voters, with DNC supporters seeing a gain of of over 30,000 new registrants since 2020 compared to the GOP’s uptick of 8,817.
