The parents of a 2-month-old boy who was reported missing and later found safe earlier this month, have been arrested for the murder of another child.
Robert Lisby and Joy Tyler were taken into custody in Jacksonville on Thursday after investigators say they found evidence that the couple killed their 1-year-old child.
The child was said to have been only 9 ounces and had a skull fracture when it died.
Authorities reported that they had been investigating the Fort Pierce couple for about a year after following the death.
Lisby and Tyler were in the news earlier this month after their 2-month-old was reported missing. The child was later found safe in Jacksonville.
The couple is expected to be extradited back to St. Lucie County to face charges.
