(VERO BEACH, FL) — An Indian River County man was arrested after he allegedly threatened his neighbor and then responding deputies after he was asked to turn down his music.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s office responded to a residence at 1166 6th Avenue due to a noise complaint on Sunday.
When they made contact with the resident Brandon Mayerat about the noise complaint Mayerat began threatening them.
While attempting to de-escalate the situation, authorities learned that Mayerat also threatened his neighbor earlier in the day when he was originally asked to turn down the music.
Deputies then decided to take him into custody.
Mayerat is facing several charges including threatening to harm law enforcement officers.
