MEDLEY, FL– A 39-year-old man has been arrested after he placed a surveillance camera in the women’s restroom at his workplace.
The incident was reported at 11555 NW 124th Street on Feb. 14th after an employee noticed the camera under the sink.
After viewing the recorded images, authorities learned that another employee, Ronny Jose Barbera Quintero, carefully placed the camera to face the toilet just one day prior to it being found.
Once Quintero learned that the surveillance device had been found, he fled the area.
Authorities eventually located him a short time later and he confessed to placing the camera in the restroom.
Quintero told officials that he only did it to capture a couple who was rumored to have “relationships” inside of the restroom.
At least four victims were captured using the restroom on the device, but officials say there may be more.
