(SARASOTA, FL)– A 19-year-old man has been arrested after it was revealed that he gave an 11-year-old girl illegal drugs and caused her to have a medical episode.
The incident occurred back on July 11th.
Authorities say the child’s parents contacted the paramedics after they noticed that she was going in and out of consciousness.

Authorities then launched an investigation into how the child came into possession of the drugs.
According to the report, authorities found text messages between Gabriel Derylak and the child showing that he drove to her neighborhood and supplied her with marijuana edibles and seven tabs of LSD.
Derylak was taken into custody on Oct. 26th.
Officials say that when they search Derylak’s residence, they also found 163 prescription pills, LSD, marijuana, 125 grams of mushrooms, THC edibles and cartridges, butane hash oil, and drug paraphernalia in his apartment.
He has been charged with the sale of a controlled substance, the sale of a controlled substance to a person under 18, and the unlawful use of a two-way communications device.
Several items taken from the apartment are still in the laboratory for testing and could result in additional charges.
