Officials with the Volusia County Sheriff’s have arrested and charged a 29-year-old man with several counts of possessing child pornography.

Brandon Shelton was taken into custody on Tuesday, after deputies received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Authorities say they discovered 11 electronic files of videos and photos that portrayed children in sexually exploitative situations in Shelton’s possession.

All of the images involved children between the ages of 2 and 9-years-old.

Officials also found a video involving a dog.

Shelton confessed to downloading and forwarding suspected child pornography as well as being the person in the video having sexual contact with the dog.

According to the report, the dog belonged to Shelton’s wife.

Shelton has been charged with 11 counts of possessing child pornography and six counts of sexual activity involving animals.

He has since been released from the Volusia County Branch Jail on $116,000 bail.
