PALM COAST, FL– A 60-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at his gun at a woman’s head because her friend briefly used his driveway to back up her vehicle.
The incident occurred at a home on Wood Ash Lane Saturday afternoon.
The victim told Flagler County Sheriff’s Office officials that her friend was only in the driveway a few moments when the homeowner, Terry Vetsch, came running out of the home with a gun in his hand.
The woman says Vetsch struck the vehicle’s back window of her friend’s vehicle with the gun and that’s when she got out of the vehicle to confront Vetsch.
According to the report, an argument ensued and Vetsch pointed the gun at the woman’s head.
Officials say Vetsch had surveillance video of the incident and allowed authorities to view it, saying that she was trespassing.
Authorities reported that while the victim did get out of the vehicle and follow Vetsch toward his property while arguing, she never trespassed on his property.
Vetsch was taken into custody and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
