Florida man arrested after randomly shooting from window of home

Naples, Florida —A man in Naples, Florida was taken into custody following a 9-hour stand-off with police.
The incident occurred on Saturday at a home in the 15000 block of Wildflower Circle.
Collier County deputies say they responded to the home around 9:30 p.m. after receiving several reports of a man shooting his gun randomly from the window of his home.
When authorities arrived, the suspect opened fire on the SWAT Team through the door before retreating further into the home.
Around 6:45 a.m. Sunday, authorities were able to bring the suspect into custody with the help of K-9 dogs.
The suspect was taken to an area hospital for injuries due to the dog bites and a bullet wound to the ear.
He remains in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation and charges are still pending.
