Florida man arrested after fatally punching man in face

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL–
A 48-year-old man is facing a manslaughter charge after he fatally punched a man in the face during a fight at a gas station.
The incident was reported at the Chevron at 402 S U.S. Highway 41, in Ruskin on Sept. 27.
Police say they received a call about an unresponsive man who was lying in the parking lot.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the victim died of homicide due to a blunt impact to the head.
Investigators then found surveillance showing the victim and suspect arriving to the gas station in two different cars.
The victim and the suspect spoke outside of their vehicles and that’s when the suspect struck the victim in the face.
The victim was said to have fallen back and hit his head on the pavement.
The suspect then fled the scene.
On October 3rd, The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Rodolfo Regino Jr.
He faces several charges, including manslaughter.
