(JACKSON COUNTY, FLA) — Two adults were arrested after allegedly abducting a minor, taking her to an abandoned building, and beating her, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Coby Jerome Jordan picked up a teen girl Friday evening in Houston County, Alabama, and later convened with two women, one being Molly Michele Jarret.
The minor was taken across state lines to Florida, and was held captive in an abandoned building around 1 a.m. Saturday. Jordan bound her hands and feet in duct tape, and proceeded to beat her, according to authorities.
Shortly after, the minor was dropped off under a tree, but was able to escape.
Deputies responded to a call Saturday November 5 at around 6:15 a.m. on the alleged kidnapping, and after further investigation, narrowed down the suspects to Jordan and Jarret.
The announcement posted to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook amassed 1.5K shares and 1.4K comments, prompting spectators to express outrage in the comments.

Jordan was arrested and charged with robbery, false imprisonment, tampering with a victim, and battery.
Jarret is charged with principal in the first degree to robbery, principal in the first degree to false imprisonment, principal in the first degree to tampering with a victim, and principal in the first degree to battery.
