(FORT PIERCE, FL) – The debate between Florida gubernatorial candidates Ron DeSantis and Charlie Crist has been rescheduled for Monday October 24.

The candidates will debate about top issues that voters are concerned about. Residents can submit questions that may be used during the debate at FloridaDebate2022.com

“This debate is important,” said Crist, a former Florida governor. “Florida voters deserve a chance to hear from both candidates in the race to determine who will lead our state for the next four years. Voters also deserve to hear Gov. DeSantis defend his extremist anti-woman, anti-choice, anti-freedom agenda.”

The original debate between DeSantis, the current Republican governor, and Democratic challenger Crist, was scheduled for October 12th in Fort Pierce but was postponed due to Hurricane Ian.

The rescheduled debate hosted by WPEC CBS 12 will be held at 7 p.m. at the Sunrise Theater in Fort Pierce and will be livestreamed and broadcasted live on local TV stations across Florida.

This is the only scheduled debate between the two candidates.
