HIALEAH, FL–
A Florida couple has been arrested after they tricked a teen who considered them friends into going to their house where they raped her.
The 14-year-old victim told authorities that 18-year-old Jocelyn Gomez and 23-year-old Enmanuel Martinez told her that they were picking her up from her home to go to a movie at the Dolphin Mall.
When the couple picked her up, they then informed her that instead of going to the movie theater, they were going to watch a movie at their apartment in Hialeah.
The victim told police that they watched a movie at the apartment but eventually the couple asked her if she wanted to play “spin the bottle.”
The teen agreed to play but that’s when things took a turn:
“The victim was daring (Martinez) and (Gomez) to do normal things, such as sing and dance,” an investigator wrote. “(Martinez) then dared the victim to take her shirt off and the victim told him no several times. (Gomez) then began to entice the victim to take her shirt off.”
Authorities say the teen did take off her shirt briefly but put it back on.
That’s when Gomez dared her to kiss Martinez.
The teen says she felt awkward and refused.
The victim told (Gomez) that she was not going to, because that was her boyfriend and she did not see him like that,” police wrote. “(Gomez) then told the victim that it was okay because they have done this for about a year. The victim replied to (Gomez) that she felt uncomfortable kissing him.”
Martinez then lunged at the victim and kissed her against her will.
At that point, the teen asked to leave.
As the teen and Gomez were heading out the door, Martinez told in Spanish “I can’t leave. ”
When the victim asked him why Martinez informed her that he had an erection and could not go outside.
The teen told authorities that she laughed off the comment and that’s when Martinez exposed himself and began pleasuring himself.
The victim allegedly told Gomez to “control her boyfriend,” to which Gomez replied, “let him finish and they could leave.”
Martinez reportedly told the victim that they had done this before but she was “the hottest friend that (Gomez) has brought.”
One the car ride home, the couple told the teen that she could not tell anyone about what happened, a friend, however, convinced her to tell her father what happened.
Martinez and Gomez have since been arrested.
Martinez faces two counts of sexual battery on a child over 12 and one count each of lewd and lascivious exhibition and lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child over 12.
Gomez faces charges of lewd and lascivious battery, a felony, plus misdemeanor charges of failing to report a sexual battery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and battery.
