Five dead including two children, in head-on collision

(PLANT CITY, FL)– Two children and three adults are dead after a head-on collision in Northern Florida.
The incident occurred Sunday night along a highway near Tampa.
According to Florida highway patrol, the 20-year-old driver of a Ford Explorer crossed the center line of the highway and crashed head on into a Nissan Frontier.
Four people in the Ford including a 1-year, 12-year-old, 56-year-old woman, and the driver, died as a result of the crash.
A 53-year-old man who was driving the Nissan was said to have died as well.
Two passengers in the Ford and one passenger in the Nissan were said to have surived the crash but were left with injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
