Palm Beach Fire Rescue Division Chief Sean Baker says, “We responded with all personnel, and called for assistance from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.”
He adds that the blaze spread to other parts of the hotel, as smoke filled the building. Firefighters remained on the scene until about 2 p.m..
The cause remains under investigation.
Most of the damage was contained to the third floor, although investigators are still assessing the damage and trying to determine exactly where and how the fire started.
Cocoanut Row between Brazilian and Chilean avenues was closed for several hours due to the situation, town officials stated.

Firefighters with the town of Palm Beach are being assisted by crews from Palm Beach County and West Palm Beach after a fire broke out Saturday.
No injuries were reported.
