(INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLA) — A fire near Fellsmere has blazed across 1,200 acres as crews work to contain the destruction, WPTV reports.

Firefighters are on day 3 of battling the flames and are focusing on preventing the fire from reaching the power lines near 113th Street, according to Fellsmere police.

Indian River County Fire Rescue is assisting local efforts to keep the damage to a minimum.

Florida Forest Service has said the fire is 95% contained and there is no imminent threat to people or property.
