THE ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

MONDAY, JULY 4TH

The City of Plantation & Rita and Rick Case Automotive Group present, Stars & Stripes, an Independence Day Celebration, Monday, July 4th!

THE INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE begins at 9:00 am at the corner of West Broward Boulevard and N.W. 46^th Avenue. The parade heads west to N.W. 69^th Avenue, turning right on N.W. 4^th Street, ending at City Hall with an awards ceremony. The parade route roads will be closed to traffic during the parade, starting at approximately 7:00 am and ending at 11:00 am).

KID’S ZONE, CONCERT and FIREWORKS are held at the Plantation Central Park Ball Fields. The kid’s zone begins at 6:00 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm, featuring Big City Dogs, a Florida-based classic rock & blues band. The Fireworks follow at 9:00 pm featuring Zambelli Fireworks.

Food is available for purchase during the evening program.

The Parade, Kid’s Zone, Concert and Fireworks Showcase are FREE.
