ESPN apparently aired a fake high school football game between a Florida powerhouse and an online charter school that doesn’t exist.
Alleged online charter school Bishop Sycamore squared off against high school powerhouse IMG Academy out of Bradenton, Florida on national television.
“Michigan State commit Ade Willie and the IMG defense shutout Bishop Sycamore 58-0 on ESPN showing why they are ranked No. 2 overall in the MaxPreps High School Football Rankings.”
The school was thoroughly embarrassed 58-0 in defeat. Since the loss, details emerged that the program and school never existed and also played twice in three days. There are also reports the coach has an active arrest warrant and former players comprised of dropouts who slept on the floors of hotels. ESPN has said it did not schedule the game and blamed the Paragon Marketing Group.
