Entire CA School Board resigns after degrading parents in virtual meeting

(Oakley, CA) — An entire California school board is resigning after they were heard belittling and slamming parents during a virtual meeting.

The board members of the Oakley Union Elementary School District thought Wednesday’s meeting was private, and let expletives fly as they complained about criticism from concerned parents on social media. The parents, who are taxpayers which fund the school district, were horrified.

One member said, “Bitch if you’re going to call me out, I’m going to f**k you up!”

Their comments suggested parents wanted in-person learning to return so they could get their “babysitters back” while they sit at home smoking medical marijuana.
One parent recorded the meeting and posted it on YouTube.

Finally the board chair tells the others, “Hey guys, apparently we have the meeting open to the public right now” which was met by groans and a “great.”

On Friday, the four board members submitted their resignations.
