Officials at the Bayshore Fire Rescue department are reporting that one of their firetrucks was stolen while the crew was responding to a call. The incident occurred on Sunday around 10:00 am from the fire station. After authorities took to Facebook in an effort to help locate the vehicle, the vehicle was found nearly 80 miles away in Manatee County. Chief Larry Nisbet later posted a video thanking the community for sending them photos and helping to locate the stolen brush truck.

It is unclear if officials have identified a suspect.
