Embassy Employees Told to Leave Iraq

As tensions continue to rise, non-emergency U.S. government employees have been ordered to leave Iraq.

The embassy in Baghdad confirmed today that the directive had been given by the U.S. state department.

Limited information was provided, but citizens were urged to “depart by commercial transportation as soon as possible.”
