WEST PALM BEACH, FL– The West Palm Beach Police Department is reporting that a 79-year-old woman who was reported missing on Tuesday was discovered dead on the side of a roadway.
The body of Verina Cadet was discovered on Wednesday around 10:45 a.m. in a swale near the 5600 block of 47 Place North.
Authorities say a truck driver noticed the body and called them.
Cadet was reported missing on Tuesday around 3:30 p.m., but her family says they believe she left the home sometime around noon.
Surveillance video in the area, however, showed that Cadet had been missing since Monday morning.
West Palm Beach Police spokesman Michael Jachles, reported that no foul play is suspected.
