Authorities are currently searching for two women who reportedly scammed an older woman out of $19,000.

According to the report, the two women approached the victim in the parking lot of an area supermarket and claimed to be a lottery Jackpot winner who could not claim the winnings because of immigration status.

The women eventually convinced the victim to help them by exchanging the ticket for cash and promising the woman that everything would be documented by an attorney.

The women drove the elderly woman to her home where she retrieved the cash. The women then drove with the victim back to the store.

As they approached the store, they told the victim to get out of the vehicle while they went to find parking. The women never returned.

The victim was able to describe at least one of the victims to a Miami-Dade Police Department forensic sketch artist.

If you recognize this woman, you are asked to contact Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
