Dwyer High School teen in stolen vehicle before his death

Police are reporting that a Dwyer High School student who was found dead after hanging out with his friends was reportedly found in a stolen vehicle.

Investigators say they received a report about a stolen from the Jupiter Isle Apartment Complex on Sunday which had been experiencing a string of car burglaries.

Hours later, authorities spotted a suspicious vehicle near Jupiter Park Drive and Central Boulevard. They then followed the vehicle as the occupants drove from Palm Beach Gardens back to Jupiter.

Officials attempted to use a tire deflation device to stop the car but it did not work. According to the police report, officers did not pursue the vehicle after that.

A few hours later, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Department located the same vehicle abandoned near Alternate A1A and Donald Ross Road.

Authorities say three of the doors where left opened and no one was in the vehicle. Investigators say they remained at the scene for two hours before wrapping up their report.

At around 10:00 p.m. Authorities then received a call from the family of Tiger Rollins reporting him missing. Officials then got word that Rollins had been in the vehicle.

After another extensive search, Rollins body was found in a nearby body of water north of where he was last seen in the vehicle.

Authorities have not yet released his cause of death.
