(PENNSYLVANIA) — Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman says his democratic senate campaign has raised more than half a million dollars in the past day.
That’s after Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz dropped a new ad that shows Oz mispronouncing the name of a local grocery chain and saying that the cost of ‘crudité’ – otherwise known as a vegetable plate – had spiked.
The campaign also reportedly raised thousands from a sticker Fetterman offered. It reads: “Wegners” – the flubbed name of the grocery store, with “Let Them Eat Crudité” underneath.
