The bodies were discovered at home in the 16300 block of 134th Terrace North just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday after authorities were contacted to do a welfare check.
Authorities reported that they found a man and a woman both dead inside of the home from gunshot wounds.
While not much is known about the situation at this time, investigators reported that there is no threat to the public:
“Detectives believe they have accounted for all parties involved in this double shooting/homicide and there is no threat to the public,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Teri Barbera said in a news release.
Officials are waiting on an autopsy to confirm the cause of death for both individuals.
