Tua Tagovailoa has not cleared concussion protocol and will not play in Sunday’s playoff game against the Bills, Head Coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday. “As of today, Tua has not been cleared by doctors to resume football activities on the field with his teammates, so because of that and because of the time that he’s missed, I can rule him out for Sunday,” McDaniel said. The team is preparing to start Skylar Thompson behind center. Thompson started Week 18 against the Jets where he finished 18-33 166 yards and an interception. The Dolphins are currently 13 point underdogs against the AFC East Champs.
