(MIAMI GARDENS, FLA) — Dolphins’ senior vice president of communications and community affairs, Jason Jenkins, died suddenly Saturday, according to the team. He was 47.
The team announced his untimely passing at halftime of its preseason game against the Eagles, which the team won handily, 48-10.
Jenkins cause of death is not known just that he passed after “a medical emergency.”
Jenkins had been a senior VP since 2015 and worked for the Dolphins since 2009.
