The Sun-Sentinel is reporting that health officials are currently investigating after a 56-year-old “healthy” doctor died two weeks after receiving his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Gregory Michael who was an Obstetrician at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, died earlier this week after receiving the vaccine on Dec. 18th.

According to the report, the Dr. went to the hospital after noticing small spots begin to appear on both his hands and his feet three days after receiving the first dose.

When he arrived to the private that he worked for, for over 15- years, they noticed that his blood count was “far below normal ranges.”

He was then admitted to the ICU.

Just days before a last resort surgery, Dr. Michael suffered a stroke and died.

On a Facebook post, Dr. Michael’s wife said that he was an advocate for the vaccine and spent the pandemic delivering hundreds of babies.

If it is found that Dr. Michael’s death is related to the vaccine, it will be the first COVID-vaccine related death in the country.
