(TALLAHASSEE, FL) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ administration will continue to fly illegal migrants to Democratic states, according to his spokeswoman.
Documents released on Friday show that two separate flights will transport about 100 migrants to Delaware and Illinois.
The flights were originally scheduled to take off October 3rd. However, they were postponed according to DeSantis’ communications director, Taryn Fenske,
Fenske stated that the reason for the rescheduling was due to Hurricane Ian.
On September 14th fights sent 49 migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, where local officials weren’t notified that the migrants were coming.
DeSantis admitted to sending the migrants there as part of a campaign to focus attention on what he has called the Biden administration’s failed border policies. He was joining Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in the tactic of sending migrants to Democratic strongholds without advance warning.
