Florida Governor Ron DeSantis doesn’t want to hear “blip” from President Joe Biden about COVID protocols as long as the southern border is wide open to infected migrants. Biden this week told the governors of Texas and Florida to get out of the way when it comes to fighting the variants to which DeSantis barked back to Biden, “Do your job.”

The CDC recommends both students and staff mask up again for the upcoming school year but Governor DeSantis has signed an executive order preventing mask mandates for schools.
The Broward county school board chair Rosalind Osgood says, for now, the district’s face covering policy, which requires the use of masks in schools, remains in place. The BCPS mask mandate will be discussed at a Special School Board Meeting on Tuesday, August 10. Meanwhile, Palm Beach County’s school district “strongly encourages” mask wearing in school.

Republicans are concerned that as Americans are ordered to get the vaccine and wear a mask, the Southern Border is wide open to thousands of COVID positive migrants.
