Officials in West Palm Beach are reporting that they have located and seized a vehicle that struck a woman while she was checking her mail before leaving the scene.

The incident occurred on Saturday on Chickamauga Avenue around 6:27 A.M.

Authorities say the 36-year-old victim Sonia Yanes, was checking her mail at the time when someone driving a 2008 Toyota Camry struck her and left the scene. Yanes was later taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Deputies are reporting that they have since located the vehicle, however, it is unclear if they have identified the driver of that vehicle.
