The stakes are high for State Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried in tonight’s debate against her Democratic rival, former Governor and Congressman, Charlie Crist.
The debate will be their only interaction ahead of Florida primary on August 23rd.

Election experts warn that Fried needs a solid performance because she’s trailing behind Crist in the latest polls 55-to-40%
Fried is expected to go after Crist for being an untrustworthy flip flopper due to his habitual party hopping.
He was the Republican Governor of Florida from 2007-to-2011 and now is running as a Democrat.
The debate airs tonight at 7 o’clock tonight on WPTV News Channel 5, our news partners.
