PARIS- Delray Beach tennis star Coco Gauff lost in straight sets,  6-1,6-3, to world number one Iga Swiatek at the French Open Saturday morning.

Gauff, 18, has won each of the 12 sets she’s played in this year’s tournament, winning the last 3 in her match against Trevisan.

Entering the tournament seeded 18th, she faced the No. 1 seeded Iga Swiatek of Poland in the Finals match on Saturday.

Gauff was the youngest player in the French Open Final since Belgium’s Kim Clijsters who played at the age of 17 in 2001.

Clijsters lost to American Jennifer Capriati in that match.
