Authorities are reporting that they have discovered a debris field within the search area for the missing submersible. The discovery was made by a remotely operated vehicle searching near the Titanic. It is unclear if this debris field is connected to the missing submersible but officials are “evaluating the information.” The US Coast Guard announced that they will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. ET.
