Investigators in Fellmere are reporting that they believe the death of a 38-year-old woman may be link to the disappearance of another missing woman.

38-year-old Allea Beemer was found dead on Wednesday after she was reported missing on January 31st.

Authorities did not say much about her cause of death, only that they were investigating it as a homicide.

At a news conference on Wednesday, officials reported that they are looking for another woman by the name of Amanda Towne and that they believe the cases are connected.

Towne, who is a mother of three, disappeared from the area in March of 2020.

She was last seen near South Carolina Avenue and 138th Avenue wearing a camouflage hooded sweater with a zipper, dark-colored spandex pants and dark-colored flip flops.

A Facebook page dedicated to finding Towne accuses those who last saw her alive of being silent on the case:

“The people claiming to be the last ones in contact with her, and who claim to care about her and her three children, remain silent to this day,” the Facebook page says.

Police say the two mothers have similarities including visiting the same areas and have connections to similar people.

If you believe you have any information about this case, you are asked contact Crime Stoppers at 800-277-TIPS.
