Authorities in Hialeah are currently investigating after a woman performing a welfare check on her parents reportedly found both of them dead.

The bodies were found around 10 a.m. Tuesday, inside of an apartment just off of West 12th Lane near 44th Place.

It was not said how the couple died, however, authorities did report that they found a gun inside of the apartment.

Authorities are currently at the scene investigating.
