Costco has decided to restate a purchase limit on specific items in their stores due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.

The retailer updated it’s policies after many customers began panic buying products in the wake of the Delta variant.

While the companies website did not mention which items will have the limitations, when a customer goes to purchase an item online, they will receive language notifying them if the item has a purchase limit.

Last time the purchase limit was enacted, it was placed on items such as disinfectant, toilet paper, and paper towels.

In addition to purchase limits, Costco says it is continuing to follow CDC face mask regulations guidelines in recommending that the face mask be worn in stores that are in areas with high transmit ion rates.
