Coroner concludes Florida mother and children’s cause of death was murder-suicide

The St. Lucie County Coroner is reporting that a family who was found dead in a vehicle in March died in a murder-suicide.
35-year-old Andrea Langhorst and 3-year-old’s Olivia Dryer and Adam Dryer were found dead in a vehicle parked at the Manatee Cove apartment complex in Melbourne on March 20th.
Officials were called to the scene around 10:50 p.m. due to the report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot.
When authorities looked inside the vehicle, they found the mother dead in the front seat, and the twins dead in the back.
Authorities say the Fort Pierce family appeared to have been living transiently out of the vehicle but had been seen or heard from for 11 days.
The medical examiner determined that Langhorst’s death was due to methamphetamine and cocaine intoxication in a manner of suicide.
The children also died of methamphetamine intoxication. Authorities have ruled their deaths to be homicide.
