A worker at the City Diner in West Palm Beach is currently recovering after being stabbed by a fellow employee.
The incident occurred on Saturday at the restaurant located on 3400 S Dixie Hwy.
Officials say two cooks were involved in an altercation that became heated.
At one point, both cooks began choking each other, and that’s when one of the cooks grabbed a knife and stabbed the other.
The injured cook was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other cook was transported to the hospital to be evaluated.
It is unclear what started the incident.
Authorities are still investigating.
