The United States Coast Guard launched a search and rescue operation for 58 year old scuba diver Robert Macintyre who was last seen diving Thursday morning near the Lake Worth Inlet off of Palm Beach.

Boaters in the area are asked to keep an eye out for Macintyre in the waters around Peanut Island, Palm Beach Shores and the Port of Palm Beach.
He was wearing a black wetsuit with a silver air tank.
Anyone with information is asked to call the U.S. Coast Guard Miami Sector at 305-535-4472.
Boaters may also alert authorities by radio on Channel 16 which is monitored by the Coast Guard.
