A child is recovering in the hospital after they were struck by a vehicle while riding a bike.

The incident occurred Monday morning on Military Trail, just south of Indian Creek Parkway.

Not much is known about the incident at this time, however, the child was said to have been taken to  St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Authorities were also seen towing a Telsa away from the scene.

It is unclear if the child attends Jupiter Middle School.
